The original design/markings must be kept - only color changes are allowed (you cannot add new markings)

One dye per "color" changed- so if you want to change the color of the spots on your Mothcat, it will only cost one bottle of dye to do so

Some recolors may require multiple dyes (based on the proportions you're recoloring)

Recoloring other consumables

Includes crafting materials, accessories, and companions

Same rules apply as with Mothcats

"Painting" your Mothcat home (to be developed!)

* Dyes can only be used to recolor your Mothcat during special (rare) events. To recolor an item, simply tag floramisa in your Mothcat Bank Inventory transaction log CLEARLY stating what item you would like to recolor. Note that the dye has to be something you currently own. (We will be checking!)

Much like their original fairy counterparts, Mothcats enjoy wearing accessories. "Applied" accessories- ones that don't come with the adoptable- were created by floramisa as a means to provide everyone with an opportunity to customize their Mothcat. Accessories can range from simple bracelets/ribbons to full blown dresses/suits, hats, etc.

Accessories can be earned from the following ways:

Purchasing an adopt that is already wearing accessories

Purchasing them from an event shop

Crafting them from an event

Some accessories are rarer than others and can only be bought. Any accessory can be recolored using dyes.

Accessories can be applied to Mothcats anytime. Approval from Mothkitten is required for the application of accessories. Once approved, you will have to add the item to the "Applied Accessories/Inventory" section of your Mothcat ID. (Use of a Mothcat ID is required for applied accessories.)

* Accessories that come with your Mothcat are not considered applied and do not need to be tracked in your Mothcat ID.

** NOTE ** Mothcats CANNOT be drawn with accessories/markings/items that they do not own more than once! Meaning you can draw your Mothcat wearing a certain thing once before it has to be crafted to be accepted! Items and accessories can be crafted at Farina's Craft Shop.

Companions grow very attached to their Mothcat owners. If you choose to detach them, there is an 80% chance they will run away and disappear forever!
