* General inventory management, including record-keeping, is now managed by the site itself.
** Which is to say: you will no longer need or be expected to update your own bank or transaction log going forward.
** Additionally, inventories are automatically categorized by item type!
* Currencies, such as [[Flower Token Tutorial|Flower Tokens]], and items will enter your bank as:
** A reward for a submission
** Adding your character's name to their masterlist entry!
** Characters have an editable profile section!
** Initiating a character transfer via on-site utilities-- these must still be approved by an admin, but the process is now streamlined.

aaa=== Shops ===* Shops are now located entirely on-site; additionally, purchasing from them is now fully automatic!** That is, when you purchase an item, its cost is automatically deducted from your bank and the item placed in your inventory instantly (and all necessary logs made).** '''You can find all shops [https://www.mothcats.com/shops here]!'''* While most shops take FT, as you might be used to, there are also special shops that take other currencies!** For instance, the [[Community Garden]] prize shop, located [https://www.mothcats.com/shops/1 here], takes points earned from the garden (now, aptly, Garden Points.)* Like inventories, shop stocks are automatically categorized by item type. === Trading ===* The functional portion of trading (that is, the act of trading itself) is now located entirely on-site and automated!** Each party can contribute any items and/or currency to their side, and when ready, confirm. Once both parties have confirmed their contributions, each user will need to confirm again to finalize the trade.** Once each user has confirmed a second time, the trade will process and each user will automatically receive their part of the trade!* The discussion element of trades-- such as comments and listings-- will remain as they are; the Trading Post on dA will continue its role as hub for these activities, though the act of trading itself has moved.* Characters can also be traded using this interface!** The procedure is similar, except as before, trades involving a character must be confirmed by an admin before they process through.* So, '''the new steps to make a trade might look like''':** Make a listing at the Trading Post (as usual)** Discuss terms with someone (as usual)** Go to the [https://www.mothcats.com/trades/open trade hub] on-site** One of the participants creates a new trade,*** Selects their trade partner from the list of users,*** And fills out this form in the comments section:
Trade Agreement: (Link to the listing or other proof of discussion!)What's Being Traded: (Optional, only required if there's something being traded not recognized by the site-- for instance, art!)
